Lesson Attendance


Students are expected to attend all lessons during Fall and Spring semester and 6 lessons in the Summer. There are no lessons during holidays on the calendar above. A lesson or two may be rescheduled if there is an emergency.

Fall 2008: Aug. 18 - Dec. 12
Spring 2009: Jan. 5 - May 15
Summer 2009: May 25 - Aug. 7



Make-Up Week

This is the last week of school (GCPS) before Christmas and Summer Break. Students do not have a lesson this week unless they have had to miss one during the semester.

Fall 2008 Make-Up Week:
Dec. 15 - Dec. 19

Spring 2009 Make-Up Week:
May 18 - May 22


Spring Piano Recital

May 2009 - TBA

Everyone did a great job at the 2008 Spring Recital! At piano recitals, students perform memorized pieces and receive awards for their earned points.

All-State Oboe Etudes:

The 2008-2009 etudes are still being finished. GMEA should have them ready in August. Check the GMEA website and click on "band" and "all-state" to get them.
